ICG Presence at PGA Show
Press Releases

Still trying to dig out from 30+ inches of snow and to get back on track for what looks to be a nice resurgence in the golfing industry... To begin, I really don't know where to start? (How's that for an oxymoron) From the Membership, to the Sponsors, to Reed Exhibitions for the wonderful locations (Range and Showroom), to our show volunteers who really stepped up to make this event a real success for the Guild...  With the exposure we received, the addition of at least 10 new Sponsors, the 50+ renewals and new members, I feel that this has catapulted us to the #1, most sought after, club-fitters / club-makers organization world-wide...

Our presentations were first rate and our Sponsors barely had time to breathe at both the Demo Day and in our Meeting Room, right across the way from the Main Exhibition Hall... Topped off by a very emotional awards ceremony that recognized all of our top clubmakers of the year and seeing good friend and well-worthy recipient, Jerry Hoefling Sr. accepting his beautiful plaque, inducting him into our Hall of Fame... On the heels of that reception we also inducted Ely Callaway for his contributions to golf and to his company's bold move into the component world, allowing many of our members the opportunity to make some solid money as more and more OEM companies drive towards that goal of furnishing qualified clubmakers access to some of the most sought after club head components in the world!

I would also like to thank all of the "naysayers" (some here and some thankfully, gone) who ignited a burning flame from within, thinking this organization was somehow going in the wrong direction & doomed for failure??? In less than a year's time we have built a new virtual home (Thanks Jacques:), inducted a new President who stood up and made himself accountable for the vision he had regarding our fledging organization, elected a BoD's who saw this vision and proactively moved on its passage, to a revived and new group of members who contributed and showed a huge passion of the business and game that they love... So, to coin a phrase, "We Ain't Goin' Nowhere":)...

Last, but certainly not least, I'd like to extend a heartfelt thanks to Ed Weber for really stepping up and volunteering a HUGE amount of time at this years show... From video, to picture taking, to bringing new sponsors on board, this guy's Herculean effort was miles beyond what we looked for from our volunteer staff... Kudo's Ed and many thanks for all that you did!

Here's to a happy, healthy and prosperous year for all of our members... It is because of you, our organization prospers and has become a new found success!

Thank You!"
